House Transportation Chairman Bill Shuster is offering a rosy picture of what’s in store for his air traffic control privatization proposal once Congress returns from recess in a couple weeks. And no, he’s not leaving the plan for dead. Outside the House floor on Wednesday, Shuster indicated that Democrats in the Senate may yet come out in support of spinning air traffic control out of the hands of the FAA.
