RADWIN (http://www.radwin.com) - the global sub-6 GHz broadband wireless leader - today announced that the Alameda County Housing Authority deployed the RADWIN 5000 Point-to-Multipoint base stations and subscriber units to connect video surveillance camera sites across its housing project, transmitting the video back to the local Police Force station. The RADWIN-based surveillance network is helping the housing authority to cut down on crime and empowering the local police force to rapidly detect and respond to security violations. Cyberwatch, a leading system integration firm based in San Jose, California, U.S., was in charge of project design and implementation.
