Nikkei 225 Tops 15,000 First Time in 5 Years on Yen Falls

Japan’s Nikkei 225 Stock Average (NKY)closed above 15,000 for the first time since 2007 after the yen touched a 4 1/2-year low against the dollar. Sony Corp. (6758) jumped as shareholder Daniel Loeb pushed for its breakup.
