Macy’s closing downtown St. Louis store

The store employs 94 associates; another 100 corporate employees work on the ninth and 10th floors of the building. Macy’s officials said store associates may be offered positions in nearby stores, while the corporate employees will be relocated to Macy’s offices in Earth City. Macy’s has 3,000 employees in the metro St. Louis area, in stores, offices, a distribution center and the credit and customer services hub.
