A Fremont health food company is recalling 16 different products after state health inspectors found the company's factory infested with mice.

The San Francisco Herb & Natural Food Company factory at 47444 Kato Road was closed indefinitely on July 11 by state inspectors who said they discovered a "pervasive" infestation of mice.

The rodents were burrowing and nesting in containers of tea and spices, which the company sells in stores throughout California and on the Internet, state health officials said. Droppings were found everywhere in the 150,000 square-foot factory.

Most of the recalled products were sold online.
