More protest rallies in Anaheim were scheduled for Saturday afternoon as anger continues over the police shootings that set off a week of unrest in the Orange County city.

Organizers say they will hold a sidewalk speak-out at noon at the corner of La Palma Avenue and Anna Drive, close to the location where Manuel Diaz, 25, was fatally shot on July 21 after police said the unarmed man was evading arrest. Family and friends also are reported to be holding a car wash nearby to raise money for his funeral.
