Israel to indict reporter over state secrets

Israel's Attorney General has announced it will indict a journalist who published classified documents provided by a military whistleblower.

The Justice Ministry said in a statement Wednesday that Uri Blau, a reporter for the Haaretz daily, will be charged for unauthorized possession of state secrets. The maximum sentence is seven years.
