Richard Lee (Founder) was being detained at his home and four marijuana nursery workers are also being detained. According to the L.A. Times, Mr. Lee is no longer being detained. Oaktown Pirate reports seeing two protestors arrested. The amount of arrests makes some people wonder if Oakland PD felt a little differently about the protestors this time around, given that the Feds gave them no notice of the raid (according to Councilmember Kaplan). On top of it all, they had a school shooting to deal with at the exact same time; seven people were reportedly killed and three were injured in that incident at an independent Korean college, while the shooter has apparently been captured.

The deadly shooting erupted around 10:30 a.m. at Oikos University in Oakland, according to officials.
