**Opinion**
While watching this, I thought, that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. Also, I don't believe that any of them answered the question properly regarding how they have went without necessities in the past. How could they answer that when it simply doesn't apply?! They can't answer that question because they can't relate to such sacrifice. From not having such experience, they can't understand and therefore, can't help much of the population with their interests. Instead, they can relate to and understand special interests.
