Protect Life Act Passes House: House Passes Controversial Anti-Abortion Bill

After an emotional floor debate, the House of Representatives on Thursday passed the so-called Protect Life Act, which prohibits women from buying health insurance plans that cover abortion under the Affordable Care Act and makes it legal for hospitals to deny abortions to pregnant women with life-threatening conditions.

**Opinion**

So, they want to make it more financially difficult for women to obtain affordable abortions. And, they want women to have their baby even if they have conditions that are life threatening. I don't agree with this nor see what right the government has in hindering a woman's right to choose. I'd think that women have better insight in each individual circumstance to decide if an abortion is right or wrong. When job creation can't even keep up with population growth, don't you think that encouraging affordable abortions is the better route!? I've said this before and will repeat, isn't a one-time cost enormously cheaper than say many years of or perhaps a life-time of costs?!
