A magnitude 2.8 earthquake — followed by a 1.3 magnitude quake — gently shook the East Bay early Saturday morning, causing little or no damage, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The agency reported that the quake struck at 12:06 a.m. with an epicenter in the Berkeley Hills. The second quake rolled through eight minutes later with an epicenter in the same neighborhood.
