Facebook debuts Smart List, feature automatically groups friends

Taking a page from Google+, Facebook is debuting Smart Lists, a feature that automatically groups friends into coworkers, school buddies and people who live within 50 miles.

Now here's a surprise - not! Once again, Facebook has taken it upon themselves to implement an unnecessary feature. At the very least, it should be the decision of each individual user, if such a list is desired. Facebook continues to make it undesirable for me to engage in their services.
