BART Police Investigate Vandalism at Glen Park Station
http://www.kron4.com/Article.aspx?ArticleID=1936
BART police are investigating an act of vandalism at one of San Francisco's BART stations Thursday.
BART says nearly a dozen men wearing black hoods damaged fare gates by smashing them with hammers at the Glen Park BART station Thursday night. Eight fare gates were damaged and BART says the vandals also scrawled the name of Charles Hill at the station. Hill was fatally shot by BART police in July after allegedly wielding a knife at officers.
BART police say they are investigating whether or not the vandalism is connected to the protest organized Thursday afternoon by No Justice, No BART. The organization's demonstration was held to protest the killing of Hill and to call for an end to police brutality.
