**Opinion**
Agreed. I believe this is definitely part of the problem as to why little or no change occurs. We need young, passionate, diverse, capable individuals that better represent the larger part of the population: the underrepresented. Also, there needs to be a better proportion regarding females/males. For this to be successful, we need people in congress that are more 'down to earth', and can actually relate to issues, rather than those who focus on furthering the inequalities and distancing themselves as far away as possible from those they represent (or should be representing).
