We are in a way different situation now than when President George W. Bush was in office. Therefore, I can understand the debt limit flop. However, the recent flip-flopping of Newt Gringrich is a completely different matter. Thereby, making it less acceptable. I don't excuse Obama for his actions regarding the 2006 debt limit increase, but, at least he was honest as to why he flip-flopped. Goodwin Liu should of got appointed and moreover, politicians should be consistent and stop flip-flopping.
