The North end of the Aquatic Park in Berkeley has been collecting algae for years, but the city government has done nothing to eradicate the problem that residents have been complaining about for years. Tuesday August 28, 2012.
**Opinion**
I've been wondering about this ever since frequenting the area. It looks awfully hazardous and has a disgusting odor. At the very least, it appears as if it has been both increasing and becoming more polluted. Since the garbage/waste from the cities storm water drains to the Bay, well, it's not looking good.`
